General procurement notice : Support to Higher Education Science and Technology Project Phase Ii
This component aims to strengthen the capacity of the Commission for University Education
(CUE) in rolling out Competency Based Education nationally in line with Kenya’s new
curriculum, by providing the necessary guidelines for universities to use in revising their
programs. The component also focuses on strengthening the capacity of university staff in STEM
and to strengthen linkages between universities and the private sector to ensure university
education is relevant to the needs of the labour market.
Component 3: STEM and Entrepreneurship Training for Women and Youth
This component will focus on increasing participation of women in STEM, and in promoting
entrepreneurship among the youth.
Component 4: Project Management and Institutional Support
4. Procurement of goods works and acquisition of the services of consultants will be carried
out in accordance with the Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded
Operations dated October 2015, and in line with the provisions stated in the Financing
Agreement. Solicitation documents are expected to be available in July 2026. Interested
