Rfp- Engagement of External Auditor for Audit of Financial Statements (three-year Term) for the Central Bank of Liberia
The Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) hereby intends to apply funds from its Fiscal Year 2026
budget toward THE ENGAGEMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR FOR AUDIT OF
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS (THREE-YEAR TERM) (RFP NO.: CBL/RFP/12/2026).
The Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) was established under the Amended and Restated Central
Bank of Liberia Act of 2020 with the mandate to maintain price stability, promote financial
system stability, foster sustainable economic growth, and safeguard the integrity of Liberia’s
monetary and financial system.
In accordance with the provisions of the CBL Act, the financial statements of the Bank shall
be audited annually by independent external auditors of international repute appointed by the
Board of Governors.
The CBL hereby invites sealed proposals from qualified, reputable, and internationally
recognized audit firms to provide external audit services for the audit of the financial statements
of the Central Bank of Liberia for a period of three (3) consecutive fiscal years, subject to
annual performance review.
The objective of this assignment is to engage an independent external audit firm to audit the
financial statements of the Central Bank of Liberia in accordance with IFRS and applicable
laws, assess internal controls and governance systems, provide recommendations for
improvement, and enhance transparency and accountability in the Bank’s financial reporting
framework
