Tenders Are Invited for Nature-based Flood Adaptation to Increase Community Resilience in the Western Part of Rwanda
the Main Objective of the Project is to Enhance the Climate Resilience of Communities and Water Infrastructure in the Karongi and Rusizi Districts of Western Province. the Specific Objectives Are To: (i) Reduce Vulnerability to Climate-related Hazards; (ii) Safeguard Critical Water Infrastructure; and (iii) Strengthen the Adaptive Capacity of Local Communities Through a Combination of Flood Control Measures, Climate-smart Catchment Restoration, and the Integration of Climate Information and Early Warning Systems.
