Tenders are invited for Implementation of works for the project expansion and renovation of the um fzv facility with the purchase of equipment in two phases – first part of phase 2. The expansion of the building includes construction and installation works as well as the supply and installation of equipment, with the reinforced concrete structure already completed. The project includes the construction of a four-story annex, primarily intended for the educational process and providing spaces for employees. The annex is located on the northern side of the existing building, in the area of the former two-story northern wing, and partly in the area of the existing courtyard and parking lot. The University of Maribor has already signed a contract for the execution of the reinforced concrete structure of the annex along with demolition works based on a public procurement. These works are currently underway. This means that the basic structure of the building will still be executed or completed at the beginning of the execution of the subject order. The contractor of the reinforced concrete structure will submit a reliability certificate (DZO) for the completed works to the client upon completion of the works. Due to the contractually agreed annual dynamics of fund consumption between the client and the co-financer, the immediate engagement of the selected contractor is anticipated after the contract is signed. The goal is to ensure the quickest possible start of the execution of potential contractual works and optimal time utilization of the available period. After the engagement, the contractor must immediately begin ordering materials, elements, and equipment, where this is already possible according to the project documentation and the actual state of the building. This reduces the risk of delays due to longer delivery times and ensures the smooth progress of the works. We particularly emphasize that in the descriptions of works, only the installation (with possible connection) of equipment is anticipated at certain points, as the client has already provided part of the equipment. Bidders must take this into account when preparing their offers and during the subsequent execution of works. The selected contractor will actively participate in the technical and quality acceptance of the already completed works (reinforced concrete structures) to verify their suitability and ensure compliance with further execution. This aims to prevent any potential later ambiguities or misunderstandings regarding the quality and suitability of the already completed works. Estimated value excluding VAT: 4,984,446.38 EUR.
