Tenders are invited for R2 Bátka - fig, contractor of the construction. The purpose of procuring construction works R2 Bátka - Figa is to relieve the currently overloaded transport network, especially road I/16, which is used for transit traffic with a negative impact on residents along this heavily burdened road running through the municipalities. The construction of the R2 expressway will increase the flow, speed, and safety of traffic and will lead to a significant improvement in traffic and operational conditions for transit traffic. Overall overview of the construction: - total length of the main route section: 6,318.585 m - width arrangement (road category): R 11.5/100 - number of structures: 90 - total number of bridges: 6 on R2. Description of the construction: The R2 expressway is part of the international European route E58 in the west-east direction. The R2 expressway will connect the previously prepared section R2 Zacharovce - Bátka with the completed section R2 Figa - bypass. The beginning of the section R2 Bátka - Figa follows the previous section R2 Zacharovce - Bátka, after the grade-separated intersection Bátka, which was addressed in the previous section. The route crosses road III/2753 here and continues to the existing intersection of road I/16 with road III/2759, which it bridges, including the Blh stream. In the next section, the route runs along road I/16 from the south side, in the cadastral area of Kaloša it deviates from the corridor of road I/16 and crosses road III/2760 and the Teška stream. Further, it again crosses road I/16 and ends by connecting to the construction R2 Figa - bypass. Detailed definition of the subject of the contract is in Volume 1 to Volume 5 of the competition documents. Estimated value excluding VAT: 152,591,814.43 EUR.
