Tenders Are Invited for Hydroclimatic Study for the Puyango–tumbes Transboundary Basin, Incorporating Climate Variability (enso) and Climate Change Scenarios, as a Technical Basis for the Integrated Management of Water Resources and the Design of Resilient Infrastructure
The overall objective of this consultancy is to develop a Binational Hydroclimatic Study for the Puyango-Tumbes transboundary basin, which will rigorously characterize, analyze, and quantify the hydroclimatic behavior of the basin, explicitly incorporating the climatic variability associated with the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) phenomenon and climate change scenarios, in order to generate reliable technical information that supports strategic decision-making by the Binational Commission for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and the competent institutions of Ecuador and Peru.
Funding: CAF will provide the financial resources for the consultancy contract using Technical Cooperation resources managed through the Multilateral Cooperation Centre for Development Financing (MCDF), within the framework of the initiative “Assistance for Capacity Development in the Puyango-Tumbes Transboundary Basin”
Reference budget : USD 350,000.

Contract execution period : six (6) months from the date of signing the service contract.?
