The Chairman, Procurement Committee of Deputy Chief Secretary (Engineering Services & Infrastructure)
Eastern Province, Kanniya Road, Varothayanagar, Trincomalee, invites sealed bids from eligible and
qualified bidders for the work mentioned in the table. The eligible bidders should possess Construction Industry
Development Authority (CIDA) registration for the Grade mentioned in the table below.
2. The Estimate Cost are mentioned below excluding Taxes and Contingencies.
3. The bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Building, single stage single envelop system.
4. Bidding documents may be purchased during office hours up to 14/09/2026, 03.00 p.m. at the Office of the Deputy
Chief Secretary (Engineering Services & Infrastructure) Eastern Province, Kanniya Road Varothayanagar,
Trincomalee. on submission of receipts for the proof of payment for Non-Refundable fee mentioned below, at the
Office of the Deputy Chief Secretary (Engineering Services & Infrastructure), Eastern Province, Kanniya
Road Varothayanagar, Trincomalee.

6. A complete set of bids must be delivered to the address below Chairman, Procurement Committee of Deputy Chief
Secretary (Engineering Services & Infrastructure) Eastern Province, Kanniya Road, Varothayanagar, Trincomalee.
Bids will be opened at the Office of Deputy Chief Secretary (Engineering Services & Infrastructure) Eastern
Province, Kanniya Road, Varothayanagar, Trincomalee on 15/09/2026 at 10.30 am. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the Presence of the bidders ‘representatives who choose to attend in person at the address
mentioned above
7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Security with a validity period mentioned in the table below. The BidSecurity should be in the form of bid guarantee from any commercial bank acceptable from Central Bank of Sri
Lanka, or Construction guarantee fund or any insurance companies acceptable in Sri Lanka.
