Tenders are invited for Management of municipal waste and small construction waste in the territory of the city of Košice
The subject of the contract is divided into two parts:
1. Part – Municipal Waste (ZKO)
The subject of the contract is the provision of services in the field of municipal waste management according to this description of the subject of the contract, including services related to the collection, transport, and processing of municipal waste, disinfection and cleaning of collection containers, as well as the operation of collection yards in the territory of the city of Košice, including ensuring sorted collection. The requirements of the contracting authority for ensuring sorted collection are specified in Part 1 point 1.3 of the description of the subject of the contract.
Services must be provided in accordance with the waste management hierarchy arising from Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on Waste and on Amendments to Certain Acts as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Waste Act") and with other related legal regulations.
The expected date for the commencement of service provision is January 1, 2027. The duration of the service provision is set for 120 months, i.e., until December 31, 2036, in the case of the contracts effectiveness from January 1, 2027. If this does not happen, the duration of the contract will be 120 months from the effectiveness of the contract.
Except for the operation of collection yards, all services must begin to be provided on the date of the contracts effectiveness. If the required number of collection yards is not available at the time of the commencement of service provision, their commissioning will be governed by the conditions specified in the section dedicated to collection yards, allowing for their establishment and commissioning in three phases, as further described in the subject of the contract.
The city of Košice, as the contracting authority, declares its cooperation within its competencies in legislative and substantive steps necessary for the proper and effective provision of the services in question, including ensuring the necessary permits, informing the population, and coordinating the development of the waste management system in its territory.
2. Part – Biodegradable Kitchen Waste (KBO)
The subject of the contract is the provision of services in the field of municipal waste management (biodegradable kitchen waste – waste catalog number 20 01 08) according to this description of the subject of the contract, namely services related to the collection, transport, and processing of biodegradable kitchen waste.
Services must be provided in accordance with the waste management hierarchy arising from Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on Waste and on Amendments to Certain Acts as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Waste Act") and with other related legal regulations.
The expected date for the commencement of service provision is January 1, 2027. The duration of the service provision is set for 120 months, i.e., until December 31, 2036, in the case of the contracts effectiveness from January 1, 2027.
