Tender Are Invited For Construction of Multipurpose Dam and Small Hydro Power Plant
Alaoa Multipurpose Dam Project
1. The Independent State of Samoa has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Alaoa Multipurpose Dam Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the prequalification and the bidding process.
2. The Ministry of Works, Transport and Infrastructure (MWTI) (the "Employer") intends to prequalify firms for: Works-01a - Construction of Multipurpose Dam and Small Hydro Power Plant.
3. Only eligible Applicants with the following key qualifications defined in the Prequalification Document may participate in this prequalification.
Eligibility;
History of Nonperforming Contracts;
Suspension Based on Execution of a Bid-Securing Declaration;
Pending Litigation and Arbitration;
Historical Financial Performance;
Average Annual Turnover;
Contracts of Similar Size and Nature;
Experience in Key Activities; and
Organizational Environmental, Health and Safety System etc.
