Tenders Are Invited for Individual Accountant-consultant
General Qualifications (General Education, Training, and Experience)
Academic Level: Minimum of a four-year university degree (Bachelor's, Master's) in accounting, finance, financial management, auditing, management control, or a related field.
Recognized professional certification(s) (Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and/or relevant additional training (SYSCOHADA, SYCEBNL, donor project management).
Suitability of the assignment (studies, training, relevant experience in the sector/similar assignments).
General professional experience in accounting/financial management (at least 5 years of experience). Less than 5 years will result in a score of 0.
At least two experiences in maintaining the accounts for projects funded by international donors (AfDB, World Bank, EU, IDB, IFAD, etc.) at a rate of 2 points per experience.
At least two experiences related to the Uniform Act on Accounting Law and Financial Information. (AUDCIF), revised SYSCOHADA and Accounting System for Non-Profit Entities (SYCEBNL) at a rate of 2 points/experience
Have participated in at least two development projects in the preparation of summary financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) and financial monitoring reports (RSF/IFR) compliant with the requirements of multilateral donors
Knowledge of the fiduciary and disbursement procedures of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group and other multilateral development institutions (at least one project with international donors)
the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Represented By the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports, Has Requested and Obtained a Loan From the African Development Bank (adb) to Finance the Human Capital Strengthening Project in Support of Economic and Social Inclusion Phase 01 (parch 01) and Intends to Use Part of the Resources Granted Under This Loan to Finance the Recruitment of An Accountant.
