Request for quotation(RFQ): Procurement and supply of raw materials and equipment for igas
Add is a non-profit organization working across Sudan to strengthen humanity’s fight against poverty, social injustice, and natural disasters. Through immediate relief and self-sustaining development programs, Add invests in practical and effective solutions. The purpose of this request for proposals (RFP) seeks competitive proposals from qualified service provider(s) for the supply and procurement of assorted inputs and materials for income-generating activities (IGAs) benefiting internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and host communities in Khartoum. Bid submission requirements include a valid business registration certificate and operator’s license, company profile, valid tax clearance certificate, three satisfactory-performance recommendation letters or completion certificates confirming a good track record, and documents stating the contract values of three similar completed construction projects undertaken within the last two years. A cover letter expressing interest in being contracted as a vendor or contractor, financial capacity evidenced by a clear copy of the most recent two-month bank statement, a completed and signed vendor information form, the request for proposals (RFP) document, a summary of the scope of work, and a completed and signed Add conflict of interest declaration and code of conduct are also required. For bid prices and price changes, bidders shall clearly state the prices for all services to be provided in the designated spaces in the bill of quantities (BOQ). The price schedule must be signed and officially stamped, and all rates and amounts stated in the bid form, price schedule, documents, correspondence, or other tender-related communications shall be expressed in Sudanese pounds (SDG). Bids shall remain valid for 30 working days from the bid-opening date specified by the purchaser. A bid valid for a shorter period may be rejected as non-responsive. In exceptional circumstances, the purchaser may request bidders to extend the validity period, and such requests and responses shall be made in writing by letter or email. A bidder that agrees to the extension shall not be required or permitted to modify its bid. The original bid shall be signed by the bidder or by a person duly authorized to bind the bidder to the contract. Each page of the financial proposal shall be initialed by the authorized signatory and stamped with the company seal. Any interlineation, erasure, or overwriting shall be valid only if initialed by the person(s) signing the bid. All bids must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Sudan time on 8 October 2026.
