Request for Proposal: Work Injury Benefits and Group Personal Accident Insurance – Heifer Kenya
Heifer International Kenya invites qualified, reputable, and licensed insurance underwriters to submit proposals for Work Injury Benefits Act (WIBA) and Group Personal Accident (GPA) insurance coverage for approximately 40 employees, interns, and temporary or casual workers. The selected provider will offer comprehensive protection for work-related injuries, occupational illnesses, accidental death, permanent or temporary disability, medical and funeral expenses, emergency evacuation, and other value-added benefits. The anticipated coverage period is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2027, with an option for renewal based on satisfactory performance, budget availability, and mutual agreement.
Interested bidders must meet the mandatory eligibility, experience, financial capacity, claims management, and technical requirements detailed in the full RFP. Questions must be submitted to procurement-ke@heifer.org by Friday, October 23, 2026. Complete technical and financial proposals are due at the same email address by Thursday, October 29, 2026
