General procurement notice for Islamic Finance Grant to Build a Sustainable Islamic Social Finance Ecosystem in Uganda
The Project will include the following components:
Study on the Islamic Social Finance in Uganda
• A comprehensive assessment of the Islamic social finance sector in Uganda including all stakeholders, government, public, private, and philanthropic donors, beneficiaries etc.
• SWOT analysis of the Islamic Social Finance Sector in Uganda.
• Assessment of the Regulation.
• Upgrade the regulatory system for nonprofit organization.
Study to Develop and Upgrade HZWU
• Current and future state assessment of HZWU.
• Roadmap for the development and upgrading of HZWU.
•Policy and procedure manual(s) capturing best practices in the collection, management and distribution of Zakat and Awqaf.
IT Studies for HZWU
• Business requirements/ToR for a comprehensive database of donors and beneficiaries.
• Business requirements/ToR for an IT system to manage the work of HZWU.
Capacity Building for HZWU Staff
• Capacity Building for HZWU management team.
