Tenders are invited for D3 highway Žilina, Brodno – Kysucké new town
The subject of the contract is the construction of the D3 motorway in the section Žilina (Brodno) - Kysucké Nové Mesto. It is part of the D3 motorway, which starts in Hricovské Podhradie and ends at the border with Poland in Skalite. It is part of the D1 - D3 motorway section in the Bratislava - Trencín - Žilina - Skalite route. The motorway in question is also part of the multimodal transport corridor No. VI, the Trans-European Networks and the Trans-European Motorway in the North-South direction. The construction of the D3 motorway in the planned area will increase the capacity of the road network in the region, reduce the negative impacts of passenger but especially freight car traffic and increase traffic safety. The planned section starts at km 11.100 of the D3 motorway in the area of ??the Brodno interchange and continues with the previous section of the D3 motorway Žilina (Strážov) - Žilina (Brodno). The end of the planned section is at km 22.300 of the D3 motorway, where the motorway continues with the Kysucké Nové Mesto – Ošcadnica section. The motorway is designed throughout as a four-lane, directionally divided road in the D24.5/80 category, which is also reflected in all technical parameters (directional and elevation of the route). The D3 motorway also includes branches of the Kysucké Nové Mesto interchange. The construction also includes the relocation of the I/11 road in the section from the Brodno interchange to the reconnection of the relocation to the I/11 road in the Kysucké Brána area. The route of the relocation runs from the unfinished Brodno intersection, which it completes into a full-fledged intersection, continues by crossing the Žilina - Cadca railway line overpass, then runs parallel to the railway line through the local part of Žilina - Brodno and at the Brodno railway stop it begins to deviate from the ŽSR line and connects to the existing road I/11. Along the route, it crosses Brodnanská Street overpass without connecting to it. The subject of the contract is defined in detail in Volume 1 to Volume 5 of these SP.
