Tenders Are Invited for General Road Works to Tony Hart Boulevard, Montego Bay St. James
the Scope of Works for the Tony Hart Boulevard Upgrade Programme Includes the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Tony Hart Boulevard From the Existing Single Carriage Way (approximately 7m) to a Dual Carriageway with Turning Lanes (17.5m) From the Tony Hart- Coconut Drive Roundabout to the Western Gate of the Paj Freeport Property. the Total Length of the Proposed Roadway Improvement is 1080m, Inclusive of the Roundabout. the Works Also Include Extensive Drainage Works Including a 1 Km Long Bioswale, 700m Cumulatively Long Tree Box and a Raingarden to Treat and Discharge the Water Into the Sensitive Marine Environment. Concrete Works Will Include the Installation of Kerbs, Sidewalks, and Channels, as Well as the Application of Road Markings and Traffic Reflectors. a 2m Wide Brick Bicycle Lane and Concrete Sidewalks Will Also Be Constructed for the Entire Length of the Roadway.
