Request for Quotation: Plan and advise on the implementation of CEC Operations
“Biciclando – Circular Economy Centres” consists of three components:
The Circular Economy Center (CEC) operates as a collection center for urban waste for collection, classification and subsequent sale to recycling centers. It serves as a physical space for the operations and administration of Biciclando's recycling collection service and has an office area, bathrooms, areas for storage and maintenance of electro-assisted bicycles and equipment that allows the cleaning and separation of recyclable materials for later sale to recycling companies in Hermosillo. The CEC is located in the Colonia Modelo area of ??the city.
Promotion of female employment : where women acting as environmental operators “bicyclists” collect recyclable urban waste using electric bicycles, sorting and preparing the recyclable materials for later sale at the city’s recycling centres. The project is developing an app that will connect the population with the bicyclists, to facilitate the home collection service, both for individuals and companies, restaurants, schools and offices.
Improvement of municipal cycling infrastructure , to improve connectivity with the Circular Economy Centers, promoting sustainable mobility in the city of Hermosillo, with special attention to women.
