The Republic of Nicaragua has received financing from KfW, directly and through the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as well as direct financing from CABEI, to finance the cost of the Lake Managua Sanitation Program on the South Bank and intends to use part of the funds from these loans to make the eligible payments stipulated in Contract KFW-LPI-003-2024 Expansion and improvement of the sanitary sewer system and wastewater treatment plant of Ciudad Sandino-Managua.
