Expressions of interest : Preparation Of A Manual And Provision Of Training On Designing And Development Of Tvet Instructional Materials
Objectives and Scope of the Consultancy
The objective of the consultancy is to develop a manual and provide training on designing, and
developing TVET Instructional materials. The scope of work will include:
• Preparation of a manual to be used by TVET instructors and curriculum developers as a step
by step guiding document to plan, design and develop instructional materials.
• Provision of training to equip instructors and curriculum developers with a set of
competencies and tools in line with the modular competency-based training curriculum.
• Preparation of training completion and final reports, among others to provide the training
methods, outcomes and the list of participants.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake consultations with Department of TVET and TVET Schools.
2. Assess training and development needs of TVET Curriculum developers and instructors and
provide recommendations to address identified needs.
3. Revise existing materials including curriculum and textbooks.
4. Design and develop training sessions based on assessment results.
5. Design and develop instructional materials for the training sessions. including content,
facilitator and participant guides, specific activities, presentations (PowerPoint).
6. Prepare the methodology and training schedule
