Tenders Are Invited for Individual Consultant for the Development of the Reference Situation of the Burundi-rwanda Integrated Development Project
the Services Provided for This Contract Include:
the Characterization of the Current Situation in the Field, Through An Exhaustive Census of Producer Organizations in the Project Intervention Area. This Includes the Classification of Producer Organizations in Three Categories According to Their Level of Maturity and Operationality for Corn, Rice, Pork and Poultry Sectors. the Study Should Make It Possible to Identify and Categorize These Organizations By Analyzing Their Organizational Capacity;
carrying Out a Field Survey and the Analysis of the Areas Operated By Households, Types of Production, Agricultural and Farming Products Sectors, as Well as Actors Involved, at the Project Intervention Provinces;
the Verification of Variations in Agricultural, Poultry and Commercial Productions, in Accordance with the Orientations of the Government Policy of Local Development;
conducting a Diagnosis of the Specific Needs of Batwas and Batwa Households and Other Vulnerable Groups Practicing 4 Sectors in the Intervention Area;
the Validation of the Lists of Beneficiaries Retained in Each Intervention Municipality, in Collaboration with the Municipal Administration;
the Development of Strategies and Action Plans Adapted to Each Category, Taking Into Account Local Specificities;
the Definition of the Approach to Be Favored for Each Category, According to Their Initial Situation, as Well as the Criteria Allowing to Go From a Category to the Next;
updating the List of Actors, Associations and Ngos Involved in the Project Area;
carrying Out a Diagnosis on the Current State of Rural Tracks, Depending on the Degree of Degradation Observed;
the Collection and Analysis of Primary and Secondary Data in the Agroecological Areas Covered By the Bridep;
carrying Out the Basic Study and the Documentation of the Reference Situation for Indicators of Impact, Effect and Bridep Products;
the Creation of a Matrix for Monitoring These Indicators;
the Establishment of Target Values ??for These Indicators for the 2030 Period.
