Tenders Are Invited for Consultant with a View to Carrying Out a Study of the Impact of Community Irrigation on Food Security, Reducing Malnutrition and Resilience to Climate Change
the Services Provided for This Contract Include: (i) Collect Data and Establish the Inventory of the Potential for Community Irrigation, (ii) Study the Mechanism for the Promotion of Alternative Ic Systems in the Diversified Agricultural Regions of Burundi, (iii) Carry Out An Analysis of Economic and Financial Profitability of the Scaling of a Community Irrigation Program at the National Level, to Design a Fundinvestment for the Financing of Various Ci Systems in Burundi, (iv) Identify the Chains of Values ??with High Export Potentials and Highlight the Impact of Irrigation in the Structuring of These Values ??for Stable Production in Connection with Export, (v) Carrying Out Simulations of the Impact of Community Irrigation on Food Security, Reduction of Malnutrition and Resilience to Changeclimatic in Burundi Using Micro Simulation Approaches, and (vi) Offer An Assembly Scheme for the Implementation of a School/department Responsible for Training Specialists in Irrigation and Maintenance (technicians and Advanced Level).
