Tenders Are Invited for bird species in the Fresh National Waters and of coastal breeding birds in the Salt Delta, and; * the counting and reporting of water bird species in three geographical areas: namely Salt Delta, Dutch Continental Shelf (NCP) and the Lower River Area.
Optional activities (under lot E) are: o To additionally fly the Natura 2000 areas Friese Front and Bruine Bank in a zigzag pattern (~370 km transect length); o To carry out a seventh count in a counting season every year from 2026; o From 2027, the rental of an aircraft required for counts of water birds on the IJsselmeer/Markermeer No optional activities apply under the other lots. The data from the counts are required to be able to continue the two nationwide measuring networks for breeding birds and water birds and to be able to meet the information obligation of the European Commission. Rijkswaterstaat assumes an indicative total contract value for 10 years (including optional years and activities) of 13.8 million euros excluding VAT. The indicative estimate (including optional years and activities) per lot is: • Lot A: 474 thousand euros excluding VAT; • Lot B: 2.1 million euros excluding VAT; • Lot C: 3.1 million euros excluding VAT; • Lot D: 611 thousand euros excluding VAT; • Lot E: 7.4 million euros excluding VAT.
