Request for Expression of Interest (eoi): Construction of 3-in-1 Sport Field (outdoor) and a Small Greenhouse at Qoloji, Somali Region, Ethiopia United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter Referred to as Unon) on Behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (un-habitat) Ethiopia Invites Qualified Interested Firms to Submit Expression of Interest (eoi) to Participate in the Upcoming Solicitation for the Construction of a (lot-1) 3-in-1 Outdoor Sports Field and the Installation of a (lot 2) Greenhouse at Qoloji, Somali Region, Ethiopia. the Aim of the Project is to Foster Social Cohesion Between Internally Displaced Persons (idps) and Host Communities Through Shared Recreational and Agricultural Infrastructure. Scope of Work: Lot 1. 3-in-1 Sports Field Construction -site Clearance, Excavation, Grading, and Leveling -concrete Surface Preparation and Installation of Drainage System (0.1–0.5% Slope) -layout and Construction Of: A) Football Field (with Goalposts and Net) B) Basketball Court (with Hoops and Backboards) C) Volleyball Court (removable Posts and Net) -painting of Sports Markings Using Color-coded, Water-based Acrylic Paint -installation of Fencing and Gated Access Around the Field -construction of Stone Masonry Seating Areas with Smooth Concrete Finish -planting of Tree Species Around the Perimeter for Shading and Cooling Lot 2. Greenhouse Construction -site Clearance, Excavation, and Grading -installation of Isolated Concrete Footing for Structural Supports -assembly of Steel/aluminium and Wood Composite Frame Structure -installation of Polycarbonate Sheets and Shade Nets -pvc Gutter Systems for Rainwater Harvesting -furnishing with Vertical Pvc Pipe Planting Beds and Proper Drainage -provision of Doors, Windows, and Ventilation Systems as Per Design Additional Details, Specifications, and Terms of Reference Shall Be Provided in the Tender Document to Be Issued Subsequent to This Reoi. Unon Invites Companies to Express Their Interest Clicking the "express Interest" Button on the Ungm Portal. Specific Requirements/information All Applicants Should Be Registered (free of Charge) at United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). Important: Please Note That This Reoi is Not An Invitation for Submission of Tenders. Its Purpose is to Identify Companies That Would Be Interested and Eligible to Participate in the Solicitation When Issued. Unon Will Examine the Eois to Shortlist Potential Companies to Invite in the Consecutive Bidding Process. Unon Reserves the Right to Change Or Cancel the Requirement at Any Time During the Eoi And/or Solicitation Process.
