Tender description : Request for Expression of Interest (eoi): Seeking Three (3) National Implementing Partners to Provide Financial Inclusion and Socio-economic Reintegration of Women Return Migrants From the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (gcc) the Project "international Migration in Africa: Shaping a Positive Narrative and Removing Barriers to Mobility" Aims to Address Migration-related Challenges Across Africa. the Project Aligns with Broader African Union Migration Policy Framework (mpfa) and Regional Efforts to Address Migration-related Vulnerabilities, Empower Women Economically, and Foster Inclusive Development. the Result Area 1 of the Project Seeks to Promote Economic Empowerment of Migrant Women: By Supporting Migrant Womens Engagement in Economic Activities in 3 Selected Countries in Africa (kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda). the Project Will Be Implemented in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda Over a Period of Four Months, Focusing on Capacity Building, Sacco Formation, Seed Funding Disbursement, and Sustainable Business Support for Return Migrant Women Entrepreneurs. Overall, Specific Expected Outcomes of This Initiative Include. • Improving Financial Inclusion of Women Returnees Through Better Saving Products and Low-cost Credit Products • a Pipeline of Financially Literate Women Returnees Who Make Informed Decisions About Managing Their Money • Understanding of Financial Concepts, Practices, and Tools to Enable Return Migrants to Make Informed and Effective Decisions About Managing Their Money. • Improving Income of the Women Return Migrants • Enhancing Contribution of Women Returnees on the Economic Development of the Country. the Reintegration Support Will Target Women Return Migrants From the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries. the Return Migrants Will Be Identified in Collaboration with the Relevant Government Institutions and Established Working Groups and Groups of Return Migrants.
