Expression of Interest: Second tashkent province water supply development project
the Social Safeguards Specialist with Suitable Work Experience and Qualifications Will Be Responsible for Provision of the Compliance of Project Activities to Social Safeguards Policies of the Adb and Republic of Uzbekistan. the Specific Duties of the Social Safeguards Specialist Include, But Not Limited in the Following: (i) Responsible for Larp, Sddr, Cap Development and Update; Larp, Cap Implementation and Reporting; Preparation of Quarterly, Semi-annual and Project Completion Social Safeguard Monitoring Reports; (ii) Support Pcu to Ensure Projects Are Complaint with Requisite Social Safeguards Requirements and They Do Not Result in Any Adverse Social Impacts ; (iii) Ensure Application of the Relevant Laws, Regulations, Rules and Procedures at National and Provincial Level for Managing and Mitigating the Social Impacts and Provide Guidance to Khokimyats for Complying with the Same; (iv) Carry Out Jointly with Pmc and Pcu Active Public Consultations, Site Visits, Field Inspections and Meetings with Stakeholders and Affected Persons to Facilitate the Successful Compliance of the Social Safeguard Requirements; (v) Assist Pcu and Pmc to Conduct Social Safeguards Due Diligence on Lar-associated Activities and Ensure Projects Have Adequate Implementation Practice, Capacity, and Commitment to Plan, Implement, Monitor and Report on the Social Safeguards Measures and Propose Recommendations to Strengthen Pmc’s Capacity as Needed;
