Tenders Are Invited for Supervision of the Improvement and Expansion Works of the Drinking Water System of the Cities of San Jorge and Buenos Aires
The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as part of the services it provides to its beneficiary partner countries, is providing financing for this acquisition, within the framework of the Improvement and Expansion Program for 4 Drinking Water Systems in 5 cities in Nicaragua.
2. EXECUTING AND CONTRACTING AGENCY OF THE PROCESS
2.1 The Executing Agency for this process is: Empresa Nicaragüense de Acueductos y Alcantarillados Sanitarios (ENACAL).
2.2 The Executing Agency is responsible for this acquisition process, for which it appoints the Executive Committee of the process and invites the submission of proposals for the required contracting.
2.3 The Contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration established in the Policy for the Procurement of Goods, Works, Services and Consulting Services with CABEI Resources and its Application Rules , which can be found on the following website at the following address: https://www.bcie.org .
3. PROCESS PRESENTATION
3.1 General Objectives of the Acquisition:
Provide support in the development of the bidding process for the contracting of the work "Improvement and expansion of the Drinking Water System of the cities of San Jorge and Buenos Aires" in order to validate that it is developed in accordance with the Policy and Standard of the financing agency, as well as carry out the Supervision of the Project Improvement and expansion of the Drinking Water System of the cities of San Jorge and Buenos Aires, Department of Rivas in a comprehensive manner, providing and supplying, among others, all the human, material and technical resources necessary to ensure the technical control of the materials and the execution of the work.
