I. Subject of the contract: The subject of the contract is the supply of oncology drugs for the Zofia Tarnowska née Zamoyska Provincial Hospital in Tarnobrzeg, included in 37 packages. II. Description of the subject of the contract: 1. CPV code according to the Common Procurement Vocabulary: 33652100-6 Anticancer agents 2. A detailed description of the subject of the contract is included in Appendix 2 to the ToR – Pricing Form. 3. The trade names provided in the ToR are examples. The Ordering Party allows the submission of equivalent offers, i.e. pharmaceutically and therapeutically equivalent. Basic concepts and definitions relating to drug bioequivalence; modified according to Kaliszan and Janicki. Pharmaceutical equivalence Pharmaceutical equivalence describes a situation in which the compared drugs contain the same amount of a medicinal agent in the same (or substantially similar - e.g. tablets, capsules) drug form, meeting the same comparable standards and which are intended for administration by the same route; Pharmaceutical equivalence does not determine therapeutic equivalence, as differences in the complementary substances and the manufacturing process may result in differences in dissolution and bioavailability, and consequently in the effect of the pharmaceutical. Therapeutic equivalence Two agents are therapeutically equivalent if they are pharmaceutically equivalent and if, after administration in the same dose, their effects in terms of both efficacy and safety are as could be expected based on appropriate studies. 4. The principles for the implementation of the delivery in question are specified in the "Draft Agreement" constituting Appendix No. 8 to the SWZ.
