Expression of interest for Recruitment of An Individual Consultant, Procurement Specialist to Support the Project Coordination Unit
The Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo has received financing from the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) to cover the cost of the Project to Support the Alternative Well-Being of Children and Youth Involved in the Cobalt Supply Chain (PABEA-COBALT), and intends to use a portion of the resources granted under the Loan to finance the contract of an individual consultant, Procurement Specialist, to support the Project Management Unit.
2. The Consultant, Procurement Specialist, will provide technical assistance and support to the PCU to accelerate the implementation of the project's procurement activities, particularly through the updating of the Procurement Plan (PPM); The diligent, effective, and efficient conduct of the PPM procurement procedures approved by the Bank and in accordance with the requirements of the applicable Procurement System (Bank Procurement System or National Procurement System); contract management; and compliance with the provisions of the Project Financing Agreements agreed upon for the procurement of the project. The description of the tasks expected of the Consultant is detailed in the attached Terms of Reference (TOR).
