Expressions of Interest for :new England Highway Muswellbrook Bypass Project -
tfnsw is Inviting Expressions of Interest From Suitably Experienced and Qualified Organisations to Participate in the Construction Work of New England Highway Muswellbrook Bypass Project (mbp).
Scope
Key features of the concept design of the bypass (which may be subject to design development and innovation) include:
About nine kilometres of new highway (the bypass) with a single lane in each direction and a wide centreline treatment;
Connection with the New England Highway at the southern end of the proposal;
A circa 40 metre bridge over the bypass at the southern connection;
A circa 80 metre long bridge over Muscle Creek Road and the Main North railway line;
A circa 110 metre long bridge over Muscle Creek;
Connection with Coal Road;
A circa 40 metre long bridge over Coal Road;
Major cutting through Skellatar Hill;
The construction approximately 600m of road over a decommissioned open cut mine;
A circa 370 metre long bridge over Sandy Creek Road, Sandy Creek, the Main North railway line and southbound exit ramp;
Connection with the New England Highway at the northern end of the proposal.
