Request for expressions of interest (consultancy services) Mano river union development and Transport facilitation program phase iv: Paving of john davis town to zwedru city (48.5km) Technical & road safety audit consultancy services
The Government of the Republic of Liberia has received funding from the African Development
Bank Group (AfDB) t towards the cost of the Paving of the John Davis Town – Zwedru City
(48.5km) under the Mano River Union Road Development and Transport Facilitation Programme
(MRU/RDTFP) Phase IV and intends to use part of the proceeds of MRU/RDTFP IV funding for
payments under the contract for the provision of Technical & Road Safety Audit Consultancy
Services.
The Technical & Road Safety Audit service will ensure that the road is constructed to the design
specifications and that the contractor is paid as per the contract conditions. The service aims to
ensure compliance with road works and will focus on the examination of the quality of ongoing
works, and the quality of works completed, to verify if the road works comply with the technical
specifications, design, and estimate documents and standards described in the contract. The firm
must have previous successful experience with carrying out technical and road safety audits or
similar quality assurance services in the road sector during the past ten (10) years.
The Ministry of Public Works now invites eligible consultants (firms) to indicate their interest in
providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are
qualified to perform the services (i) information detailing the company’s existence and areas of
expertise (ii) list of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, (iii) list of overall
permanent and temporary staff in fields related to the assignment (iv) evidence of past performance
(v) any other relevant information. Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their
chances of qualification.
