Prior information notice: Procurement of mobile bus stops The city of herne intends to procure two mobile bus stops, as there is a regular need to set up replacement stops for local public transport (öpnv), particularly as part of the annual cranger fair, at major events and as part of construction work.
with the council decision on the herne mobility transition, the city of herne has given itself a model for the citys transport planning orientation. in the spirit of hernes mobility transition, the concerns of the environmental network consisting of public transport, cycling and walking should generally be given greater weight than before in all future planning procedures and planning decisions. the most important measure is the shift from individual vehicle journeys to environmentally friendly means of transport.
by purchasing mobile stops, standardized labeling of replacement stops can be ensured in the future. in addition, mobile stops enable flexible and short-term use. with the option of making these barrier-free, they ensure easily recognizable, safe and, if possible, obstacle-free use for all passengers, especially for people with limited mobility.
the mobile bus stops should meet the following manufacturing features and functional properties:
- non-shifting construction without anchoring in the traffic area
- can be built on asphalt, pavement and green areas
- height adjustability of the entire construction as well as the individual segments (plateaus) from at least 8 to at least 22 cm
- barrier-free accessibility according to din 18040-3
- surfaces with anti-slip coating and tactile elements
- tip-proof protective railing
- availability of integrated passenger shelters
- flexible installation of ramps on the front and back of the mobile stop
- can be assembled and dismantled without restricting the road area
- the individual elements can be transported by a maximum of two people without cranes for the individual components
- modular design, which can also be constructed in a shortened version if necessary.
- recommendation: material used should be recyclable according to type
scope of delivery:
- two mobile stops each 18 meters with a depth of 2.5 m
- two integrable and expandable passenger shelters
- two to four ramps that can be integrated
- one-off assembly of the stops after delivery on july 31, 2026 including, if necessary, instruction from a specialist company for future assembly

this is a preliminary publication to check the internal market relevance. as part of the expressions of interest, suitability is checked at the same time, on the basis of which the applicants who are invited to submit an offer are selected.
