Procurement of Construction and Heavy Equipment
INVITATION TO BID The Provincial Government of Palawan through its Bids and Awards Committee BAC invites suppliers/manufacturers/ distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project. Name of the Project : Procurement of Construction and Heavy Equipment Location of the Project : El Nido, Palawan Delivery Period : Within One Hundred Twenty 120 calendar days after the receipt of Notice To Proceed Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 2 years with an amount of: a For the procurement of Non-expendable Supplies and Services: The Bidder must have completed a single contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at least fifty percent 50% of the ABC. b For the procurement of Expendable Supplies: The Bidder must have completed a single contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at least twenty-five percent 25% of the ABC. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted. All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conferences, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification, and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and regulation IRR. The complete schedule of activities is listed, as follows: ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE Pre-procurement February 25, 2026 Issuance of Bid Documents February 27, 2026 Pre-bid Conference March 11, 2026 Opening of Bids March 25, 2026, at 9:30AM Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Ten Thousand Pesos P 10,000.00 to the Provincial Treasurer’s Office and must be submitted to the BAC Secretariat at BAC Conference Room, East Wing, 2nd floor, Gov. Ramon V. Mitra Building, Capitol Compound, Puerto Princesa City, on or before 9:00 AM of March 25, 2026 Date of Opening of Bids. For inquiries, contact Atty. Lara Mae O. The Provincial Government of Palawan assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
