Expression of interest for : Consultancy to Develop a Business Continuity and Sustainability Plan for Julangel Tvet Centre
The Government of The Gambia has received financing from African Development Fund [ADF]
hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Vulnerable Youth and Women Support Project
(VYWoSP). The project aims to provide vulnerable groups, particularly out-of-school youth, and
women, with market-oriented skills and access to a range of services (financial, non-financial, basic
social services) to tackle the multidimensional aspect of poverty and vulnerability.
Through the VYWoSP project, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and
Technology (MoHERST), in its partnership with the University of Applied Science, Engineering
and Technology (USET), has operationalised the Julangel TVET Centre as part of its transformation
agenda. The Centre serves as USET’s Julangel Campus and provides technical, vocational,
agricultural, and digital skills training to support youth and women’s employability,
entrepreneurship, and community development.
To ensure the Centre’s long-term viability, operational resilience, and strategic relevance, the
VYWoSP project seeks to engage a qualified consultant or firm to develop a Business Continuity
and Sustainability Plan aligned with international standards (ISO 22301 Business Continuity
Management System; ESG frameworks; UNESCO & ILO TVET Guidelines).
