Tenders are invited for redesigning and restructuring the network cabling in kom dc this rfp covers the supply, installation, testing, certification, and commissioning of an expansion to the existing structured network cabling infrastructure at cbo kom data center and cbo head office (ho) data center.
the objective of this project is to enhance and extend the current fiber optic and copper cabling systems to support additional capacity, new equipment, and increased connectivity requirements, while ensuring full compatibility with the existing cabling environment and uninterrupted data center operations.
the scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
expansion of structured cablinginfrastructure within all relevant data center functional areas, includingdata halls, hda, mda, isp rooms, and security control rooms at bothsites.
integration of new cabling components withthe existing brownfield environment, including racks, pathways,containment systems, patch panels, fiber trunks, copper cabling, labelingschemes, and documentation standards.
provision of redundant and resilientconnectivity between eda, hda, mda, isp rooms, and securitycontrol rooms as per the defined architecture.
supply and installation of high-density om4multimode fiber, os2 single-mode fiber, and category 6a copper cablingin accordance with international data center standards.
testing, certification, and validation ofall installed fiber and copper links, with full documentation and as-builtdrawings.
execution of all works without disruptionto ongoing operations, ensuring seamless integration with existinginfrastructure and vendor ecosystems.
