Tenders Are Invited for Consulting Services for Long-term Transition Strategy and Enhancing Corporate Governance of Kek Policy Based Loan in the Energy and Climate Sector for Kosovo Project:
kosovo’s Energy Sector is Currently Undergoing a Fundamental Transformation to Address Structural Weaknesses, Reduce Its Dependence on Lignite-based Power Generation, and Align with European Energy and Climate Objectives. in Response to These Challenges, the Government of Kosovo (gok) Has Committed to a Comprehensive Energy and Climate Reform Agenda.
requested Services:
the Consultant Will Be Primarily Responsible for Supporting the Long-term Green Transition Strategy, Which Will Serve as Kek’s Guiding Framework for Aligning Operations and Investments with Kosovo’s National Energy Strategy (2022-2031). the Consultant Will Assess Kek’s Current Generation Portfolio, Analyze Opportunities for Renewable Energy Development, Evaluation Options for Phasing Out Lignite-based Assets, and Propose Decarbonization Pathways. the Consultant Will Also Review Kek’s Governance Structures, Decision-making Processes, and Compliance with Good Governance Practices.
