Context New(Additive) The Government of Cameroon has received a US$100 million loan from the World Bank to implement the Cameroon Digital Transformation Acceleration Project (PATNUC). PATNUC, overseen by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MINPOSTEL), aims to increase digital inclusion and the use of digital agricultural solutions by smallholder farmers operating within targeted agricultural value chains. PATNUC embodies the digital transformation approach, targeting a highly strategic sector for Cameroon while also proposing reforms to the regulatory framework of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector. Through its investment in connectivity and digital skills, this project supports interventions that leverage digital innovations to stimulate agricultural growth, ultimately contributing to improved rural livelihoods.
