Tenders are invited for Thurston Park Improvements Project – Kayak Launch
The Village of Central Lake will receive Bids for the Thurston Park Improvements Project – Kayak Launch until 10 AM
on Wednesday, April 8th 2026 at 2530 N. Main Street, Central Lake, MI 49622 at which time and place all bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following work:
1. Parking Area Improvements
a. Concrete sidewalks including ADA compliant transitions and detectable warnings
b. Concrete curb and gutter
c. Earthwork and grading
d. Asphalt paving
e. Storm water controls
f. Parking striping and signage
g. Landscaping & Restoration
2. Accessible Kayak Launch & Site Amenities
a. ADA/UA accessible kayak launch with existing boardwalk reinforcing
b. Kayak cleaning tools
c. Bench and trash receptacle
d. Signage
e. Concrete pad with kayak rack
f. Shoreline protection/riprap
3. Landscaping & restoration
