General procurement notice : 24 Ngerengere Villages Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (wash) Project Preparation
The principal objectives of this project are to support the provision of inclusive and sustainable
access to water and sanitation services through preparation of feasibility studies, detailed design and
ESIA in the high drought prone areas in 24 villages of Ngerengere division in Morogoro district of
Tanzania. The project includes the following procurement areas:
i) Provision of Consultancy Services for undertaking feasibility studies, detailed design and
tender documents preparation for water supply (source, raising main, distribution network),
treatment, storage tanks, distribution/water point, sanitation, and Environmental and Social
Assessment Report for 24 Ngerengere villages (Kisemo, Pulambili, Sinyaulime, Kidugalo,
Visaraka, Mlilingwa, Ngerengere,Magera, Seregete A, Lubumu, Seregete B, Diguzi,
Kiwenge, Dete, Tununguo, Lulongwe, Matuli, Kwaba, Mkulazi,Kidunda, Usungura,
Chanyumbu, Mgude, Kisanga Stand) including preparations of ESIA, SEP and RAP"
ii) Provision of Consultancy Services for capacity building and Training 30 PCT members,
RUWASA and PO-RALG staff; and Training of 200 key stakeholders from CBWSOs,
SMEs and NGOs.
iii) Provision of Consultancy Services for project completion report Audit
iv) Provision of Consultancy Services for conducting project financial audit
v) Provision of Consultancy Services for conducting project procurement audit
vi) Supply of goods to facilitate Consultancy services for Feasibility studies of 24 Villages in
Ngerengere Morogoro District.
