Consultancy Promoter Access to Financing - Chalatenango
Operational support consultancy to facilitate access to financing for small coffee producers in the department of Chalatenango in El Salvador.
TECHNOSERVE INC is a non-profit organization that works with entrepreneurs to create more competitive farms, businesses, and sectors. With over 50 years of experience in more than 30 countries worldwide, its main objectives and activities include the implementation of the "AVANZA CAFÉ" program, which will be implemented in three countries: Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. In collaboration with stakeholders in the coffee sector, Avanza Café will support coffee producers in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador to improve their income through increased productivity and diversification, while reducing carbon emissions and protecting forests and natural resources. Avanza Café promotes access to financing for beneficiary producers to invest in their farms through partnerships with financial institutions. This will allow them to access short-, medium-, and long-term financial products tailored to the needs of coffee farmers. To this end, the project is developing a series of initiatives in conjunction with partners to facilitate these processes. Promotion of these financial products and the
submission of loan applications.
In this context, we are seeking to continue hiring the services of one consultant to
support the process of facilitating access to financing for producers in the
department of Chalatenango, through the promotion of financial products offered
by financial partners for coffee-related productive activities, gather
preliminary information in the field, and assist producers interested in submitting a loan application to the respective financial partner.
