Expression of interest for : Ngo for the Training of 1,200 Young Girls on Menstrual Hygiene Management (mhm) in Schools and Provision of 1,200 Menstrual Hygiene Kits and for the Training of 40 Women in the Manufacture of Sanitary Napkins- Pasepar-mr
The Government of Niger has received funding from the African Development Fund (ADF) and the African Water Facility (AWF) to cover the cost of the Project to Support Resilient Drinking Water and Sanitation Services in Rural Areas in the Maradi, Tahoua, Tillaberi, and Zinder Regions (PASEPAR-MR), and intends to use part of the funds granted under this grant to finance service contracts with an NGO for the training of 1,200 girls on menstrual hygiene management (MHM) in schools and the provision of 1,200 menstrual hygiene kits, as well as for training 40 women in the production of reusable sanitary napkins. 2. The services provided under this contract include:
Training of 1,200 young girls in Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) and provision of
1,200 menstrual hygiene kits
This involves training 1,200 young girls in schools, with 150 students per municipality, on
MHM in relation to gender-based violence (GBV). The trained girls will receive 1,200 menstrual hygiene kits and will serve as
community ambassadors for raising awareness about MHM within their respective communities. The
training will be conducted by a trainer specializing in MHM
