Tenders Are Invited for Telephony Solution
Description :? The objective of this European public tender is to select and contract a Bidder for the supply, implementation, and maintenance of a Software-as-a-Service application for telephony. Current situation The Municipality of Huizen has been using a Mitel telephone exchange for quite some time. In 2022, we switched from fixed telephones to the use of mobile devices in combination with the MiCollab mobile app. This was a step forward compared to the previous situation. Recently, it has become apparent that the current solution has a number of disadvantages: • The current Mitel telephone exchange software runs on-premises and depends on a local domain server. The current system does not meet the requirements we have set for our new ICT service provider. Replacement is therefore necessary. • The calendar integration between Mitel and Microsoft 365 is unreliable, and users often have to manually restore it to share up-to-date calendar information. • The current mobile app is so user-unfriendly that it is bypassed by employees. As a result, the municipality's telephony policy is not being adhered to. • The use of this mobile app is necessary to make outgoing calls using the fixed telephone number (035 – 528 1X XX). Because many users do not use the app, they make calls using their 06 number. This also violates the municipality's telephony policy. • The municipality has an agreement for fixed telephony via GT Vast with Vodafone Ziggo. This concerns approximately 450 telephone numbers. • The municipality has an agreement for mobile telephony via GT Mobiel 3 with Odido. This concerns approximately 450 telephone numbers.
