Tenders are invited for Alleys (nationally) for the national category laboratory
Within the national laboratories, there is a continuous need for a portfolio of laboratory gases (such as hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, etc.). Gases are used, for example, as carriers in analyses, as references in analyses, and for cooling. The desired quality of gases is often related to the requirements of analytical equipment. A portfolio of gases can consist of various types of gases in different qualities and various packaging forms, such as cylinders (both rental and owned cylinders), dewar vessels, and bulk. In addition to the supply of gases, several participating services require services such as connecting and exchanging cylinders and automated or manual inventory control. There is also a need among several participating services for the regular (re)filling of dewar vessels with liquid nitrogen (cryo service). The current agreement stems from a European tender from 2021. The agreement with the current supplier is expiring. It is anticipated that the national laboratories will still need gases in the coming years. The following national laboratories are participating in this procurement process.
