Tenders Are Invited for Construction of Academic Blocks, Aircraft Hangar for Center of Excellency for Aviation at Kigali International Airport
the Government of Rwanda Has Received Financing From the African Development Bank (hereinafter Called “the Bank”) Toward the Construction of Centre of Excellence for Aviation Skills. the Bank’s Financing Will Support the Construction of the Academic Blocks and the Aircraft Hangar at Kigali International Airport. the Opec Fund for International Development is Co-financing the Academic Block and Aircraft Hangar and Will Fully Finance the Construction of the Leisure Centre. Payments Under the Portion of the Contract Financed By the Bank Shall Be Processed Using the Direct Payment Disbursement Method, in Accordance with the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and Procedures for Investment Project Financing. Similarly, Payments Under the Portion of the Contract Financed By the Opec Fund Shall Be Processed Using the Direct Payment Disbursement Method, in Accordance with the Opec Fund’s Disbursement Guidelines and Procedures.
The pre-bidding meeting will be held on the same dates 22nd April 2026 at 2:00PM local time
after the site visit. Prospective bidders are required to submit the details (Names, Position
& Email address) for their representatives who will attend both the site visit and the prebid meeting at least two days before the site visit pre-bid meeting.
Bids must be delivered at RDB Head Office at the address given below not later than 20th
May 2026 at 10:30AM local time (8:30AM GMT). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted.
Late Bids will be rejected irrespective of circumstances.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders ‘designated representatives
and anyone who chooses to attend on 20th May 2026 at 11:00AM local time (9:00AM GMT)
