Tenders are invited for D5 road repair at km 88.3 94.0 left + right and police control station
The construction addresses the continuous repair of the D5 highway pavement, comprehensive adjustments to the retention system, repair of the stormwater drainage, and minor repairs of bridge structures and pavements of the branches of two interchanges: Sulkov (exit 89) and Nýrany (exit 93). The scope of the construction is defined by the operational stationing approximately from km 88.3 to 95.0, thus the total length of the section is more than 6 km in each direction. Within the pavement, a complete removal of the existing cement-concrete surface will be carried out and replaced with a new cement-concrete surface with reinforced working and expansion joints. Depending on the extent of structural damage, the compacted base layers will be locally repaired, or completely removed and replaced with a new base layer of corresponding parameters. The work includes the repair and adjustment of the shoulders, including their cleaning, reprofiling, and local restoration, or the construction of new monolithic concrete gutters at the edges of the pavement. At the same time, the street inlets and the connecting parts of the drainage system will be replaced, supplemented, and cleaned. Road ditches will be cleared, freed from overgrowth, and in places of damage, prefabricated ditch blocks will be locally replaced. Access to all SOS call boxes will be adjusted, with selected boxes being widened to meet the applicable standards of the Road and Motorway Directorate. These adjustments will require local widening of the earthworks, slope adjustments, and related construction work. As part of safety measures, a complete replacement of the retention systems will be carried out. In the central dividing strip, the existing steel guardrails will be removed and replaced with concrete guardrails. At the outer edge, the guardrails will also be completely replaced and locally supplemented in accordance with the recommendations of the safety inspection (CEBASS) and applicable technical regulations. The construction also includes repairs of selected bridge structures, specifically bridges No. D5-098..1 and D5-098..2, including the renewal of anti-corrosion protection of steel load-bearing structures, repairs of bridge closures, replacement or supplementation of sealing and filling materials of expansion joints, repair of the interface between the parapet and the pavement, and local repairs of concrete structures. Culverts will be cleared, freed from vegetation, safety railings will be added, and in justified cases, concrete parapets or entire culverts will be replaced. On the branches of the grade-separated intersections, repairs of asphalt pavements will be carried out, consisting of milling asphalt layers to a thickness of approximately 120 mm and replacing them with new asphalt layers within the boundaries of the existing pavement. At the same time, cleaning and local repairs of adjacent drainage elements and repairs of access roads, including the replacement of culverts under the accesses, will be carried out. The construction includes the reconstruction of selected unused rest areas into a control point for the Czech Police, adjustments of entrances and exits, preservation of existing paved areas, and connection to the existing drainage system. During the implementation, temporary traffic organization will be ensured through temporary traffic signage and partial or complete closures. At the end of the construction work, the restoration of horizontal traffic signage and the reinstallation of vertical traffic signage will be carried out.
