Request for Qualifications: Ashland Municipal Airport – Runway and Taxilane Rehabilitation Project
CITY OF ASHLANDDEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ASHLAND MUNICIPAL AIRPORT - RUNWAY AND TAXILANE REHABILITATION PROJECT Bids Due 2:00 pm, April 30, 2026 INVITATION TO BID PROJECT NO. 2024-03Notice is hereby given that the City of Ashland, Oregon, is currently accepting sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for Project No. 2024-03: Ashland Municipal Airport - Runway and Taxilane Rehabilitation Project. Sealed Bids addressed to the City of Ashland, Public Works Department and clearly marked "Project No. 2024-03: Ashland Municipal Airport - Runway and Taxilane Rehabilitation Project" will be physically received by Chance Metcalf, PMP, Project Manager, Siskiyou Conference Room, in the Community Development Building, 51 Winburn Way, Ashland, Oregon, (mailing address: 51 Winburn Way, Ashland OR 97520), until 2:00 PM local time (Siskiyou Conference Room Clock) on April 30, 2026, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids physically received after this time will not be considered. All Bids received prior to the due date and time and in proper form will be publicly opened and read in the Siskiyou Conference Room at the time set forth above as the deadline for receipt of bids, and thereafter Bids, shall be made available for public inspection. If the total amount of the contract exceeds $250,000, the award of the contract must be approved by the Local Contract Review Board. A contract for the work will be awarded, or Bids may be rejected, separately or entirely, within thirty (30) days after Bid opening. The general character of the work for Project No. 2024-03 includes: 1. Rehabilitation of Runway and Taxilanes a. Pavement marking removal b. Narrow and wide crack repair c. Asphalt patch d. Surface seal approximately 38,200 SY of existing pavement e. Asphalt rehabilitation is approximately 8,100 SY f. Rock Shoulder 2. Reconstruction of Taxilane section T03AS-01 a. Demolish, over excavate, and replace approximately 400 SY of existing pavement b. Associated shoulder grading and restoration The solicitation documents, including plans and specifications for the Project, may be examined after April 7, 2026, at the Community Development Building, 51 Winburn Way, Ashland, OR 97520. The documents may be downloaded from OregonBuys website. The solicitation documents and any addenda may be downloaded at no charge. They will NOT be mailed to prospective bidders. Bidders should consult the OregonBuys website regularly until the closing date to avoid missing any addenda. Bidders shall pre-qualify as provided by ORS Chapter 279C.430 and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, Oregon Chapter of APWA, for all classes of construction. Pre-qualification applications must be received by the City of Ashland five (5) days prior to the date designated for the opening of the bids. All projects in excess of $50,000.00 require the Contractor to pay prevailing wage rates. The contract resulting from this solicitation will require the successful Bidder to comply with Oregon's Prevailing Wage Rates. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with ORS 279C.395.
