Request for Qualifications: Water Meters
CITY OF PRAIRIE CITYWATER METERS Proposals Due 9:00 am, May 11, 2026 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Prairie City, Oregon ("City") is requesting proposals from manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers to provide City with 497 Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or Automated Meter Reading (AMR) water meters, including associated hardware, equipment, software, technological components, training, and necessary ongoing support services. The request for proposals and associated documents (collectively, the "RFP") are available and may be obtained by contacting Trisha Schultz of Early Bird Grant Writing Services via email at EarlyBird@getstheworm.org. Hardcopies of the RFP are not available from City. The RFP may be obtained, as provided above, beginning on April 10, 2026, and until at least May 11, 2026. Specifications for the procurement and expected contract terms and conditions are included in the RFP as an attachment, but may otherwise be viewed at City's City Hall, 133 Bridge Street, Prairie City, Oregon 97869. City will solely provide addenda to the RFP via email. To receive addenda, interested proposers must timely notify Trisha Schultz of Early Bird Grant Writing Services via email at EarlyBird@getstheworm.org and request to be placed on an addenda recipients list. Proposals must be submitted no later than 9:00 AM PST on May 11, 2026 (the "Closing"). Shonalie Oakes, City Recorder, is the employee designated to receive proposals. Proposals must either (a) be mailed in a sealed envelope to: City of Prairie City, Attn: Shonalie Oakes, City Recorder, PO Box 370, Prairie City, Oregon 97869, or (b) submitted via email to Shonalie Oakes, City Recorder, at pchall@ortelco.net. Mailed proposals must include six (6) copies of the proposal and must be sent with sufficient time to be delivered to City no later than the Closing. Timely submitted proposals will be opened at City's City Hall, 133 Bridge Street, Prairie City, Oregon 97869, at 9:30 AM PST on May 11, 2026 (the "Opening"), at which place and time proposals will be publicly opened and the names of the proposers will be read aloud.
