Tenders Are Invited for Study Project for the Master Plan for the Production, Transport, and Distribution of Electrical Energy
the Project Aims To: I) Develop a Forecast of Electricity Demand Taking Into Account the Needs of the Country (households and Industries); Ii) Propose An Optimal Mix Development of the Production Fleet Considering the Country's Potential While Emphasizing Renewable Energies as Well as Interconnection Options and Exchanges with Neighboring Countries; Iii) Determine a Target Network for the Transport and Distribution of Electricity By 2040 While Indicating the Intermediate Development Steps in 2030 and 2035 in Order to Achieve the Target Access Rates; Iv) Develop An Investment Program in the Short, Medium, and Long Term; Iv) Assess the Cost of the Investments Required for the Implementation of the Recommended Projects at Each Stage of the Development of the Electricity System (2030 and 2035); V) Evaluate the Electricity Sector's Capacity to Finance the Proposed Investment Program in Relation to the Evolution of Electricity Selling Prices; and Vi) Assist the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energies (meer) in Mastering the Planning Studies for the Development of the Electricity System (production, Transport, and Distribution).
