Request for Qualifications: John Wetten Elementary School Gym Seismic Retrofit
P&c constructionjohn wetten elementary school gym seismic retrofit bids due 2:00 pm pst, monday may 4th 2026 request for bids bid package one (all trades)bids for the "john wetten elementary school gym seismic retrofit" will be received by the construction manager / general contractor (cm/gc), p&c construction (p&c), by the time and date listed above. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be in writing and directed to derrick dingman via email at bids@builtbypandc.Com this project entails the seismic upgrade of existing gymnasium and part of the cafeteria of jw es. Scope includes installation of seismic joint(s) at the roof to separate the gymnasium building from the main building structurally. Demo of the gym roof for seismic work. Demo and roof patch at the low roof for installation of seismic expansion joint. Safe off, remove, relocate and reinstall of mep will be required for structural work to commence. Finishes include patch back of assemblies that are disturbed from select demo and structural work. Reference documents, access to bidding platform/bid forms, and questions for this solicitation may be obtained by contacting bids@builtbypandc.Com proposers must complete and submit with their response all forms included in the package of documents for this solicitation. Failure to do so, or to submit an incomplete proposal, will likely cause the proposal to be deemed nonresponsive and thus rejected. All bids to be submitted on the bid form in building connected for each scope, with a copy of your proposal as an attachment. All bidders must clearly outline their ability, capacity, and associated cost to furnish payment and performance bonds covering the faithful performance of the subcontract and the payment for all obligations arising hereunder. P&c reserves the right to consider in the evaluation the ability of bidder to provide payment and performance bonds, the associated cost of payment and performance bonds, and the current financial resources of the bidder. This project is a prevailing wage project in accordance with oregon revised statutes 279c.800-870. All bidders must be registered with the construction contractors board at the time of submission of their bids and carry all licensing and bonding required for a public project in the state of oregon. P&c reserves the right to reject any and all bids; reject any bid not in compliance with the solicitation procedures and requirements; reject for good cause any bid that would be in the public's best interest to do so; and waive minor irregularities in any or all bid responses. P&c will evaluate all bids received and select the firms that provide the most overall value to the owner for each area of work included in this bid package. There will be no public opening of the bids received or announcements by p&c of selected firms until such a time after a selection has been made by the project team.
