Expression of interest for Recruitment of An Expert in Environmental, Social and Climate Safeguards for the Coordination of Parfebalt
the Services Provided Under This Contract Include:
ensure Environmental, Social and Climate Monitoring of the Project in Consultation with the Authorities in Charge of the Environment;
propose Preventive Or Mitigation Measures for the Negative Effects of the Project on the Environment and Communities;
raise Awareness and Organize Training for Project Staff on the Environmental and Social Impact (technicians and Facilitators, Companies and Design Offices) as Well as Local Committees with a View to Good Sustainable Practice of Environmental Provisions in the Project Areas;
monitor and Evaluate the Execution of Studies;
prepare and Monitor Quarterly Environmental and Social Implementation Reports in Accordance with the Projects Environmental Tools and Hold Regular Discussions and Meetings with the Pmu and Adb Experts;
prepare and Monitor Carbon Sequestration Reports By the Project;
conduct Reviews and Contribute to the Validation of Specific Environmental and Social Safeguard Instruments (p3p, Specific Pges, Pges-c, Reduced Loss of Use Plan for Paps, Etc.);
ensure the Monitoring of the Implementation of Specific Plans (p3p, Specific Pges, Pges-c, Reduced Loss of Use Plan for Paps, Etc.)
ensure Compliance with Donor Environmental Safeguards Frameworks (bad) in the Implementation of the Project;
ensure Compliance with Procedures in the Development of Resettlement Action Plans and in Public Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement;
contribute to the Drafting of Quarterly Project Implementation Reports;
implement Any Other Activity in Relation to the Environmental, Social and Climatic Safeguards of the Project.
