Call for Proposals: Sub-grants to Strengthen Scaling of Teacher Professional Development on Gender-responsive Pedagogy
support organisations to move beyond pilot-stage implementation by strengthening the scalability of GRP focused TPD initiatives – specifically those that address gender norms as a root driver of inequality in education. It focuses on addressing critical, high-leverage constraints that hinder their sustainable expansion within education systems.
Specifically, it seeks to:
Support organisations to overcome key constraints by strengthening the evidence base, stakeholder alignment, and operational capacity required to sustainably expand transformative GRP-focused TPD programmes that address gender norms at scale, and to position them for adoption within education systems.
Generate and disseminate practical insights on what works in scaling TPD for gender norms transformation, contributing to broader evidence base and community of practice across Sub-Saharan Africa.
