Tenders Are Invited for Collection System Optimization Study
Saint Lucia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to hiring a consulting firm to conduct a Collection System Optimization Study.
The overall objective of this consultancy is to assess and optimize the current Solid Waste Management system to ensure:
Promotion and adoption of source separation practices.
Enhanced efficiency in waste collection, transportation and disposal. Including the examination of waste data collection systems.
Increased waste diversion through the practice of the 7R’s.
The engagement is expected to be completed within eight (8) months, inclusive of the submission of deliverables to the client.
